Mrs. Tyler Mayser, President Mrs. Mayser is the current residing president over Peaceful Places, Inc. She has been president since June 2018. Mrs. Mayser is a child care professional and also works full-time at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library as an assistant manager. She enjoys serving her community through her job at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. She has over 10 years of management experience. She is extremely passionate about working to build a stronger community by working to improve the lives of future generations. She sees Peaceful Places as a powerful tool to bring about change in families and that is why she is so passionate about her role with this organization.
Mrs. Melanie Nixon, Treasurer Mrs. Nixon is the treasurer for Peaceful Places, Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Winston Salem State University. Mrs. Nixon has been working as an Accounts Receivable representative in the medical field for three years. Ms. Nixon has volunteered for non-profit organizations including Samaritans Purse and Noda School of Arts as well as working with Operation Christmas Child.
Mrs. Pamela Haythe, Secretary Pamela M. Haythe serves as the Secretary for Peaceful Places, Inc. Mrs. Haythe has extensive background in people relations from years of experience in Customer Service. In May of 2015, Mrs. Haythe will have completed the curriculum for an Associate’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Central Piedmont Community College. Mrs. Haythe serves as the Administrative Assistant for Safe Haven Christian Fellowship and prides herself on planning/organization and team building through developing healthy relationships.
Ms. Natasha Welborn, Board Member Ms. Welborn serves as a member for the board of directors helping to oversee Peaceful Places activities. Ms. Welborn is currently a case manager with the Department of Social Services, helping members of the community get the assistance they need. She has a background in law enforcement, serving the county as a detention officer for over 9 years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Services from Old Dominion University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Services from Keller Graduate School of Management. Ms. Welborn also volunteers in various capacities with local community outreach programs. She recognizes the gaps in the community that Peaceful Places can help fill and has a passion to help ensure that those who need help have access to it.
